Dana Caraway
Founder & Principal
Dana Caraway’s passion for Caraway & Co. was ignited during her first job after college when she was hired as a first-grade experiential outdoor education teacher in Boulder, Colorado. Her time as an educator revealed her innate talent for identifying issues and creating transformative solutions through curriculum development, impacting her students positively and significantly.
With a strong background in customer service, Dana advanced her career in many areas within the Outdoor Industry. Operations/Program manager Boulder Rock Club, Field Rep Clif Bar, Customer Service Manager La Sportiva, Designer/Brand Manager at Stonewear Designs. Her natural ability to pinpoint issues and offer effective solutions led her to become a successful sales representative in the industry, working closely with buyers and retail staff.
Fueled by her deep-seated passion, Dana eventually decided to follow her heart and founded Caraway & Co. Over the past 20+ years, she has dedicated herself to building her team and shaping the company into what it is today. Caraway & Co has been recognized by La Sportiva as the Top Sales Agency in 2019, they have also received other awards such as Best Agency of the Year GOA (2017/2018), Outdoor Research Agency of the Year Award (2012 & 2016), as well as the PrAna SEVA Award (2015).
It’s a passion of hers to bring in the younger generation and provide them with opportunities for growth and success, nurturing future leaders in the industry.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Dana thrives on adventure and exploration. When she isn’t busy with work, you can find her biking, climbing, on the water with her new passion for sailing, and cherishing quality moments with friends and loved ones. Her love for the outdoors is a constant source of inspiration, fueling her dedication to creating memorable experiences.

Terry Imus
Principal
Meet Terry Imus, a passionate adventurer and a seasoned expert in the retail and sales industry. Raised in Laguna Hills, California, Terry's love for the beach and outdoor activities was sparked early on. Fascinated by history, he pursued a degree in the subject at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, where his thirst for knowledge grew alongside his desire for new experiences.
After college, Terry moved to San Francisco and joined a startup outdoor retailer, diving into the dynamic world of e-commerce. This experience shaped his career, sharpening his skills and igniting his passion for the fast-paced retail industry. His big break came when he was offered a pivotal role at Zappos.com. As their first clothing buyer, Terry managed major apparel categories like Outdoor, Action Sports, Golf, Western, and Street. Over his eight years there, he played a critical role in the company’s expansion, establishing himself as a strategic and innovative professional in the retail world.
Seeking new challenges, Terry transitioned into sales at Caraway & Co., where he quickly made his mark by applying his deep retail expertise to drive sales and strengthen client relationships. His leadership and vision were instrumental in shaping the company's growth, and he now serves as Principal, steering Caraway & Co. to new heights.
Terry’s life outside of work is equally vibrant. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife and daughters, sharing their love for the outdoors through hiking and camping trips that create lasting memories. On weekends, you can often find him go-kart racing, seeking the thrill of speed and competition. His love for an active lifestyle extends to running and hiking, where he connects with nature and challenges himself physically.
A loyal Denver Broncos fan, Terry never misses a game, passionately cheering on his favorite team. With an adventurous spirit, a love for his family, and a strong work ethic, Terry lives life to the fullest, always looking for new adventures in both his personal and professional life.
Cindy Reaves

Meet Cindy Reaves, a vibrant individual whose life is filled with adventure, family, and cherished memories. Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Cindy’s love for exploration led her to live in various places, including Wyoming, Illinois, and Washington, D.C., each chapter enriching her journey. In 2016, after a fulfilling career, Cindy and her husband Dod retired to be closer to their granddaughters, prioritizing family and creating lasting memories together.
Cindy’s professional life spanned 11 successful years as an executive administrative assistant and event planner for a Fortune 500 company in Denver. Known for her impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail, she played a key role in creating memorable events and contributing to the company’s success. Her passion for planning and teamwork continues to shine in her work today.
Outside of her career, Cindy’s adventurous spirit has taken her across the globe. She has explored the landscapes of Italy, France, England, the Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaii, and more. Cruising has become one of her favorite ways to experience new destinations, allowing her to savor the thrill of travel and the luxury of the sea.
A dedicated sports fan, Cindy’s love for her hometown team, the Denver Broncos, runs deep, and she cheers them on with pride. She also follows the LV Knights hockey team with equal enthusiasm, adding another layer to her sports fandom.
In 2018, Cindy joined Caraway & Co., embracing a new chapter in her life. Although retired, her passion for collaboration and staying active professionally made her transition to the company a natural fit. She continues to contribute her expertise and vibrant energy to the team, finding fulfillment in the work she loves.
Family remains the cornerstone of Cindy’s life. She proudly celebrates her son, daughter, and the “world’s best son-in-law,” whose love and support enrich her life. Whether she's traveling, cheering for her favorite teams, or spending time with loved ones, Cindy’s positive energy and adventurous spirit inspire those around her, making her an invaluable part of both her family and the Caraway & Co. team.
Socorro Agustin-Renehan

Meet Socorro Renehan, a seasoned professional with a remarkable journey in the Outdoor Industry spanning over two decades. Although the call of the outdoors occasionally beckons her, Socorro’s true passion lies in supporting others, working diligently behind the scenes, just as she likes it. With a deep love for assisting people, she thrives behind her computer, where she can efficiently facilitate, solve problems, and get things done with her exceptional ops skills.
Her name, Socorro, is a Spanish word that literally translates to “I HELP,” a fitting description for her natural inclination to lend a helping hand. While she initially aspired to become a doctor, life took her on a different path, leading her to discover her true calling in supporting the Outdoor Industry.
Socorro’s journey in the outdoor world began with White Sierra, an Outerwear Company based in Santa Clara, CA. Starting as a Customer Service Rep, she gradually climbed the ladder to become the Sales Ops Manager, showcasing her dedication and commitment to her craft over 19 fruitful years. Despite unforeseen changes when White Sierra closed its doors in 2019, Socorro continued her professional endeavors in the Silicon Valley, securing an ops position at a semi-conductor company. However, her heart remained with the outdoor industry, and when the opportunity arose, she eagerly returned to her true passion, joining Caraway&Co in 2021, where she has been an integral part of the team ever since.
Outside of work, Socorro’s life revolves around her loving family. She cherishes moments with her husband Mike, her children Kylah and Lukas, and their beloved Pomeranian dog, Taeto. Together, they enjoy amusement parks, with Socorro sitting back and watching as the kids ride roller coasters. They also relish time spent cooking and hanging out with their amazing friends and family. Socorro and her loved ones also appreciate the beach and camping, where they find joy in the simple pleasures of outdoor nature fun.

Stephanie Simms

Meet Stephanie Simms, a resilient professional from a small town in central Utah. After moving to Las Vegas right out of high school, she dived into entrepreneurship by running her own in-home daycare for three years.
Later, Stephanie joined a courier company as a dispatcher, honing her organizational skills for four years. But her life took a thrilling turn when she landed a job at Zappos.com. Starting as a customer service representative, she quickly built strong bonds with customers. Her exceptional skills led to her becoming the first office assistant for the Kids Merchandising Team.
Over nine years, Stephanie has supported various departments, from outdoor to electronic, and has become a merchandise planner and inventory specialist. Meanwhile, she gracefully balanced being a single mom, and raising two boys.
Her leadership shone as she managed inventory flow between Zappos and Amazon. Eventually, she returned to her Utah hometown, where she independently built a tiny house, showcasing her determination.
Stephanie’s problem-solving talent blossomed with “Simms VA Solutions,” her venture that offered website building, system fixing, and virtual assistance.
Discovering Caraway & Co., an outdoor retail agency, she worked as a Virtual Assistant for four years, excelling in system management and project oversight. Recognizing her potential, Caraway & Co. offered her full-time roles as operations supervisor, HR specialist, and project manager.
Beyond work, Stephanie relished time with her sons, guiding them to embrace the outdoors. Camping, hiking, and swimming brought them closer as a family.
